Climate Anxiety and Eco-grief: A Psychological Response

As our climate crisis grows, feelings of anxiety, grief, depression, and hopelessness are on the rise. Too often these feelings result in burnout or despair and can lead to inaction. This virtual discussion explores the mental health dimensions of a planet in distress and ways to build emotional resilience in face of deep grief and anxiety about the future. Panelists include Joe Tropea, MCHC Director of Artist Engagement & Curator, Dr. Heidi Schreiber-Pan, Founder and Director of the Center for Nature Informed Therapy, and speakers from Visible Hands Collaborative: Dr. Kenneth Thomson, Founder and Executive Director of Integrative Community Therapy, North America, and Brigit Hassig, Chief of Staff.
